Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with us at Katrien Hendrickx (VAT BE1029833756, Dokter van de Perrelei 68 – 001, 2140 Borgerhout, Belgium). We follow the European Union consumer protection rules, which grant you a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

Prices & VAT

All prices shown in our webshop are final prices. VAT is not applicable, as this business operates under the Belgian VAT exemption scheme for small enterprises (Article 56bis of the Belgian VAT Code). VAT is therefore not charged and cannot be recovered.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Returns within 14 days)

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must inform us by email at katrien@inourhouse.be within the 14-day period.

After notifying us, you must return the item within 7 calendar days of your email, using a postal or courier service with track & trace. Return shipments must be sent to:

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods. We are not liable for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.

2. Conditions for Returns

  • The item must be in the same condition as received — unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • You must include your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

Items not returned in original condition, or sent without prior email notification, will not be accepted.

3. Refunds

Once your return has arrived and been inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Shipping costs (both original and return) are non-refundable.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if you receive a damaged or incorrect item. We will evaluate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund if applicable.

5. Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Items sold as “final sale”
  • Perishable goods or items that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding defective or misdescribed products.
